
Dr Brenda Moran
Brenda is an accredited Menopause Specialist and a Portfolio GP with a Special Interest in Women's Health & Sexual Health. She graduated from UCC in 2006 and qualified as a GP in 2013. She subsequently developed a passion for all aspects of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare and went on to complete the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare (UK). She has since accrued experience in diverse areas of sexual & reproductive health including community gynaecology, menopause care, premenstrual disorders, GUM, sexual assault & forensic medicine.
Brenda is a recognised British Menopause Society Accredited Menopause Specialist and Trainer. She obtained her menopause training in Kings College Hospital. London, which is a recognised Tertiary Referral Centre for Complex Menopause Care. Upon her return to Ireland, she established the Danu Clinic in 2020 which caters for all aspects of peri/menopause care.
Her other roles include working as a GP within the Gynaecology Department in Cork University Maternity Hospital, training peers to BMS standard as a Menopause Trainer, and providing menopause education and training to GPs via the Irish College of General Practitioners.
Her aspiration is for all to flourish throughout their reproductive and life transitions.
